I vaguely recall hearing about these kid on the news when they were born. Overnight media sensation and all that. I feel sorry for the family, though, not because the children are disabled but because they live in province with the absolute worst welfare system in the country, and they live a long way away from Vancouver, which is where the twins probably need to go for most of their medical treatment. And the government is notoriously stingy about paying for travel expenses for people needing medical help, especially when the people are on welfare.
