I read the Cracked.com link, and under point #3 I came across the claim that "Two Native Americans landed in Holland in 60 B.C. and were promptly not given a national holiday by anyone."

I was sceptical about this and wanted to track down the basis for the claim, and came across this which takes it apart fairly well.
